Remembering Sergio Ramelli to address the theme of the Years of Lead: this is what Gioventù Nazionale Versilia intends to do, recounting those very complex years through the figure of the young student, MSI militant and trustee of the Youth Front killed by an extra-parliamentary armed movement.
“We will organize a meeting to explain to young people how little freedom of expression of thought there was during the years of lead – explain Alessandra Buzzi and Sandro Salvoni, coordinator and deputy coordinator of the movement – Today more than ever it is inconceivable that a student would be killed for having expressed his opinion in a school essay, stolen and made public against his will, as happened to Sergio. An act that cost the life of that boy, guilty of having an opinion and therefore targeted by extremists. “
The meeting will be held on Monday 29 April at 6pm at the headquarters of Gioventù Nazionale Versilia and Fratelli d’Italia Viareggio in via Leonardo Da Vinci 292, with the presence of two guests of excellence: the journalist and essayist Guido Giraudo, who will present the book “Sergio Ramelli, a story that is still scary”, and Alessandro Amorese, deputy of Fratelli d’Italia and member of the VII culture commission, who will present “Youth Front” and “FUAN”.
“The event aims to be a tribute to the figure of the student who has left an indelible mark in the history of our nation and who has become the symbol of an epochal reflection on the way of expressing political thought and on the right to privacy – conclude Buzzi and Salvoni – The presentation will also be an opportunity to bring together members and supporters or simply curious people to share ideas, as well as a moment of learning and cultural exchange, with the possibility of discussing questions relating to the topic with the two guests”.
