Kornel Mundruczó will return to directing in a few months for the film At The Sea and the protagonist will be actress Amy Adams.
Amy Adams will be the protagonist of the film At the Seaa new dramatic project developed by the director Kornel Mundruczó and by screenwriter Kata Wéber.
Filming will begin in June in the American city of Boston and the production team will include Hammerstone Studios, Ryder Picture Company and AR Content.

The film At The Sea will tell the story of Laura (Amy Adams) who, after a long rehabilitation, returns to her family by going to their beach house where they usually spend their holidays. The woman must try to come to terms with the complicated life she left behind and face the next chapter of her life without the career that gave her fame, fortune and, above all, her identity as she.
Adams recently completed production on the film Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi and based on the sci-fi story by Kazuo Ishiguro. Among her upcoming projects there is also Nightbitch, a dark comedy directed by Marielle Heller, which will debut in American theaters on December 6th.
Kornél Mundruczó and Kata Wéber, who are husband and wife, recently made Pieces of a Woman starring Vanessa Kirby. Previously the artists had released White God, Jupiter’s Moon and Evolution.
