Excellent results for the “Fiamme Oro” youth section of Marcianise of the State Police. The Italian Junior Championships ended in Chianciano Terme. Three titles won: Matteo De Micco 60 kg, Tiberio Nocadello 70 kg, Francesco Foglia 80 kg (son of the technical expert Peppe).
A difficult tournament which saw the participation of over 200 boxers from all over Italy. The guys who, with sweat and sacrifice in the gym, together with the technicians, brought home this important result. A result that allows him to confirm and earn a pass for the national team in view of the next European Championships which will take place in Sarajevo (Bosnia) from 21 June to 3 July.
Of note is the victory in the first round of the final due to precautionary suspension of Nocadello thanks to a very effective right hand, in the two previous matches the Apulian had been the winner in the same way on as many occasions.
The young boxers are trained by masters Antonio Brillantino, Francesco Rossano and Luigi Gallo. Young talents therefore who divide themselves between school and sport trying to emerge and replace the old guard who has recently hung up his gloves like Clemente Russo or is at the end of his career like Mirko Valentino or Vincenzo Mangiacapre who have brought prestige to the city of Marcianise in the past .
