OVERRIDED A seventy-year-old died in a road accident which occurred late this morning near the “Santicelli” tunnel on state road 106, in the Soverato area, in the Catanzaro area. The victim, who was undocumented, she was on her bicycle and was passing through a tunnel when she was hit by an SUV. The rescue efforts were useless, there was nothing that could be done for the man. Highway 106 is closed to traffic to allow for rescue operations and necessary investigations. The surveys were entrusted to the Carabinieri of the Soverato Company.
