Genoa. He saw one couple arguing in the car, he noticed that the tone was very heated and that the woman seemed to be subjected to insults and harassment from the man, and he decided to intervene. In response he saw himself pointed at a knife and death threats.
It happened to a 34 year old man who was walking in Via Gramsci on Tuesday evening. Passing by a parked car she heard the screams, saw the couple inside, yes worried and knocked on the window to ask the woman if she needed help. The man, a fifty-year-old, reacted by telling him to “mind your own business”, then he opened the door, went down to the street and pulled out the knife.
The boy did not give up: he took his cell phone to call the police, and the other man pushed him trying to snatch it from his hands. Despite this, the young man made the call and within a short time a police car arrived in via Gramsci. Upon seeing the officers, the attacker, visibly drunk, also lashed out at them.
Eventually the man was stopped and taken to the police station. He has been reported for threats and resistance to a public official, serious threats, battery, attempted robbery and unjustified possession of weapons. The woman, in shock, refused to be transported to hospital for checks while the car the couple was in was seized because it had no insurance.
