An interesting meeting was held yesterday at the Colombo Institute in Sanremo. The young singer-songwriter from Ceriana Paolo Martini, born in 2001 and graduated in the AFM branch of the Taggia branch of the Institute, spoke with the students of the fourth fashion and fourth AFM classes about his recent artistic experience.

The initiative is part of the Sanremo school’s desire to valorise its former students who have demonstrated particular talents in various fields of art, from literature to music.

Paolo, after having independently produced some pieces, obtaining good feedback on video and music platforms, has recently started a professional musical journey, signing a contract with the Roman record label Joseba Publishing. He recently published, with the new label, the song ‘Tra l’asfalto e il cielo’ which can be listened to on all music platforms and, with an evocative video, on YouTube.

The young singer explained to the students the strategies that are adopted both to build the image of an artist and to promote a piece of music, with references to fashion (for example the choice of the so-called outfit which is never random) and marketing.

Now Paolo will perform live in the summer season in some venues in the province and with concerts in the square.

“It’s nice to return to my old school – Paolo tells us – trying to share some of the knowledge I have gained with these students. I saw them involved and this made me very happy. I know very well that I still have a lot to learn, I’m only at the beginning of a difficult path, but I’m trying to follow my great passion, music. I sincerely thank the Colombo Institute for this invitation.”
