The conditions of one of the injured in the accident on the Sassari-Olbia.
The person injured in the accident that occurred on the morning of April 23rd on the road under construction between Berchidda and Oschiri, on the still unfinished section of the Sassari-Olbia, is still serious but not life-threatening. He was admitted to Sassari hospital, where he was transported by helicopter he suffered head trauma and other injuries.
What happened in the road construction site.
The head-on collision occurred at 7.45am between an Opel Astra and a Renault Megane. According to initial investigations, the driver of the Opel, headed from Olbia towards Sassari with three other people on boardor, he lost control of the vehicle, crashing into the other car in the opposite direction after hitting a new jersey.
The passengers of the Opel suffered serious injuries and one of them was urgently transported to Sassari by helicopter. The injured man suffered head trauma and other injuries. The traffic police, the firefighters, the 118 emergency medical service and Anas personnel intervened at the scene of the accident.
