Fano: the results of the Senior finals

Egypt gets off to a good start in the Senior finals, going on to win the first gold up for grabs, the one relating to the men’s doubles, thanks to Omar Elkomaty and Aleks Svetina who beat their opponents from CUS Pavia and Mondello/SC Palermo in that order. Again in doubles but among women, triumph for the mixed Elpis Genova/CC Saturnia, thanks to Selene Gigliobianco and Althea Vajente Coletto, first ahead of SC Pesaro and the SC Lecco/Elpis Genova team.

CC Napoli/Elpis Genova team in great form then in the final of the mixed doubles with Silvia Tripi and Federico Ceccarini climbing onto the most coveted step, followed by Fiamme Rosse/Carabinieri and Rowing Club Peloro. Then goes to Giovanni Ficarra (Rowing Club Peloro) the most prestigious medal up for grabs in the men’s singles: the Sicilian athlete in fact won ahead of the Croatian Mihael Girotto and the Swede Dennis Gustavsson.

In the mixed quadruple performance, Matilde Bozzano, Irene Podestà, Philipp Gautsch, Simone Mantegazza, tim. Karol Ileo (CUS Pavia/GS Speranza/Rowing Club Peloro) triumphed over SC Pesaro/Montefeltro/Mondello with the team composed of Ichnusa di Cagliari/Elpis Genova/Urania/SC Pesaro in third place.
