MV Agusta presented the Enduro Veloce, a motorcycle that marks MV’s arrival in modern times in the large-displacement road Enduro market, alongside the LPX Orioli, a model produced however in a limited series. Stylistically the motorbike takes up the stylistic canons of MV Agusta, with harmonious lines and shapes immediately attributable to the brand. The compact and streamlined rear area is contrasted by the front end, whose mass is defined in such a way as to effectively protect the rider from the air. The extended fairing is completed by the transparent plexiglas fairing, designed to minimize turbulence in the helmet area. Another highly evocative stylistic element is the iconic Red Needle-Silver Needle combination.
The development of the shapes took place through dedicated software, studying the aerodynamics, in particular of the front mudguard to prevent it from creating anomalous resistance. Likewise. the lines of the front have been designed to maximize the air flow directed to the radiator, to the benefit of cooling.
Powering the bike we find a new 931 cc three-cylinder in-line engine, with counter-rotating shaft designed, developed and built entirely in the Varese factory, with the aim of containing weight (MV declares 57 kg) and maximizing performance and dimensions.
As for performance, The engine delivers 124 HP of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 102 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, with 85% of this delivered already at 3,000 rpm. The gearbox has six speeds and maintains the characteristic of being removable, but this occurs on the right side instead of the left as in the past. The Electronically Assisted Shift (EAS) system in version 4.0 allows you to use the quickshift with open throttle both when downshifting and when engaging the upper gear.
