In the Ligurian capital alone, following the passage of the pink caravan, approximately 3000 presences are estimated, while the media coverage for the city and the entire Region is much greater”. The Genoa – Lucca stage, 176 km long, is the fifth of the Giro out of a total of 21 which will lead to the race finishing on May 26th. “A great Ligurian and Genoese pride”, dates also the Acqui Terme-Andora stages (190 km, 7 May) and the Giro E-bike Savona-Andora.
