MODENA – Evidence incident for the psychiatric evaluation of the seventy-year-old former carabiniere who last February barricaded himself in his house in Pavullo armed with a gun, illegally held. His wife was also inside him. The man surrendered after a long mediation with the police. This morning in court the expert was appointed who will have to establish whether the former soldier was capable of understanding at that moment. The defense, represented by lawyers Cosimo Zaccaria and Nicola Elmo, has in turn appointed a party consultant. The trial has been postponed until July 11th. The accused had already made an identical gesture in December 2022, causing much alarm in the area of ​​Via Sardegna, where he lives.
