Gas Sales Bluenergy, all the youth teams qualified for the Regional Final Four

Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza achieved a historic result this season: all the youth teams involved in the various provincial and regional category championships reached the respective Regional Final Four. Fourteen teams that, after having proven themselves in the provincial and regional fields, have won the possibility of playing in the Regional Final Four or participating in the multi-team Regional Finals and seeking access to the National Finals. Training Under 13 6×6 will instead be engaged in Forlì/Cesena on 25 or 26 May in the regional quarter-finals to try to get a pass to the Regional Final Four scheduled in Piacenza on Sunday 9 June and theUnder 14 it has already played its Regional Final Four on April 14th, finishing the event in third place.

Fernando Cantarelli (Head of Youth Sector Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza): “All the teams at the regional final stage, a proud milestone has been reached for the Club but also for Piacenza. The aspect that I have grasped most while breathing in the climate of the gyms, at home and away, in these last few days is the normality that the kids express by celebrating the milestones reached and gradually surpassed. It’s not about superficiality or arrogance, but about everyday life and awareness of a personal journey and that of one’s group. Simplicity and light-heartedness accompany the inevitable “third half”, a “hot” convivial moment, after yet another last ball put on the ground: everyone in the atrium of the gymnasium around the table promptly set up by the diligent parents. Youth Volleyball quantitatively expresses a ratio of approximately 4 to 1 between female and male participation. Participating and achieving many goals, as Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza did with the youth sector would already be a very respectable result for a reality that operates in the Women’s sector. Being present in all the competitive and promotional categories in the Men’s often means that boys and girls are protagonists in multiple championships. At this point, the important role of the Technicians, coordinated by Renato Barbon, of the Managers who organize and support, of the Parents who work miracles so that their children are always present is evident. Certainly now the objective is to qualify for the national stages, but the objectives are achieved in small steps, especially with young athletes”.
