Open villas, tastings, music and culture for the Festival of Historic Houses in Friuli – Virtù Quotidiane

GORIZIA – On the occasion of the second edition of the Festival of Historic Houses which will also take place in Friuli Venezia Giulia, from 25 to 28 April, some of the Confagricoltura Fvg companies have organized a series of events to involve enthusiasts and the curious in learning about this important heritage cultural: significant and precious presence for our territory.

In the sixteenth-century Villa Attems in Gorizia, for example, guided tours will be organized (in the company of the direct descendants of the family) of the historic park (one of the most beautiful in Italy), the barchessa and the stables, completely restored, on Thursday 25 (from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, with departures every hour) and on Sunday 28, from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, with departures every hour from Via Giulio Cesare 36, in Lucinico.

At Villa Foffani in Clauiano (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy), on Thursday 25th, at 6.00 pm, there will be a tasting of some company wines, led by the sommelier Patricia Pittia. Saturday 27, at 10.00 and 11.00; 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm, you can visit the residence, finally at 6.00 pm with the “Neuro dialogues” concert which will see the violinist perform Luca Bagagli with Guglielmo Foffani on the piano.

In the garden of Villa Lovaria di Pavia di Udine, there will be an exhibition of historic cars and some tastings and meetings with the company winemaker.

In Villa Ritter de Zahony in Aquileia, you can learn about the history of the estate and the monastery that is part of it. The visits are scheduled for Sunday 28th, from 10.00 to 18.00, with the possibility of tasting three of the company’s wines at the barrique cellar.

The concurrent Chamber Music Festival, with its concerts, will stop on Saturday 27th, at 8.30 pm, at the Orangerie of Villa Lovaria in Pavia di Udine (“Gypsy Rhythms”) and on Sunday 28th, at 6.00 pm, at the Palazzo D’Attimis Maniago, in Maniago (“Between streams and nature”).
