Fatal illness while having an aperitif at the bar
He had gone to have an aperitif at the bar with some friends. He suddenly felt ill and collapsed to the ground: and there was nothing more that could be done to revive him. This is how a well-known surveyor from Caraglio, Giuseppe Lucarelli, 78 years old, died in the late morning of Sunday 21 April.
It happened at the Silver Bar, one of the clubs in the center of Cuneo. 118 health workers rushed to the scene, but all attempts to resuscitate the man were in vain. And in the end there was nothing left but to declare his death.

Giuseppe Lucarelli had worked for many years at the Territorial Housing Agency (ATC) of Cuneo, which has now become Southern Piedmont. He was among the volunteers of the Iron Bike, a mountain bike competition considered very tough.
