ODERZO (TREVISO) – From the memory of a boy to the future of many other young people: the “Giovanni Colognese” association was bornin memory of 20 year old college student died in early February while on his way to football training. From what was a huge tragedy, which brought immense pain to Giovanni’s family, to the football teamChiarano’s Evolution Team and in his many friends, a project is now born that intends to dprovide support to other young people. “I would like to be a footballer, always in a good mood who knows what to do with his feet and who no one can stop” is a thought that Giovanni had written as a child in his notebook during primary school. Again: «In these five years I have made many friends and most have become great friends of mine who I care about a lot and with whom I have had fantastic experiences».

It is also on these values ​​of friendship and mutual support that the “Giovanni Colognese” association is based, which is made up of family members and people who knew the student well throughout his life and who loved him. THE OBJECTIVES

Among the purposes is that of establish scholarships, promote sporting events and other activities which, in memory of John, promote theinstructionthe training el’educationespecially in the issues that most involve the world of youth. The scholarships will be for students in their final year of secondary school, including professional courses, present in the Opitergino territory. The objective is to contribute to the costs of enrollment and attendance at a university and/or professional qualification course. Based on the donations collected, the number of scholarships to be established will be evaluated. Any sums may also be allocated to alternative activitiessuch as support for charitable initiatives also in collaboration with local institutions. Another objective is the promotion of the culture of sport and volunteering through events open to the community.
