The Liguria Region stimulates business creation in crafts and trade with the opportunities, partly non-repayable and partly with subsidized and guaranteed financing, provided by “Garanzia Artigianato Liguria” and “Cassa Commercio Liguria”, the two funds to 39 million euros in total, based on the PR FESR 2021-2027, active from 1 March 2024. With the changes made in the Council, on the proposal of the regional councilor for Economic Development, in fact, they will be able to access the non-repayable benefits, covering 50% of the investment, even those activities that are not yet active, provided that they are started within 6 months of the conclusion of the financed intervention.
“Crafts and trade are two key sectors for the Ligurian economy. Not only because they represent over 80% of businesses, but because they are part of the regional culture and tradition. It is therefore important to pass on, reinterpreting in a modern key, professions typical of our history, which still constitute an important pillar of our economic fabric today – underlines the councilor for Economic Development Alessio Piana – With these changes we also allow those who want to start a craft or trade business, but have not yet started the company, to obtain 100% of the investment without having to advance any financial amount. An important signal – adds the councilor – to support, with a combination of financing and non-repayable funds, the creation of businesses in the area”.
Interested businesses can submit an application, through the affiliated Confidi, and in collaboration with the category associations, until 31 December 2026 on the dedicated portals of the managing entity, Artigiancassa. The many Ateco codes provided also include beauticians, hairdressers, bars or restaurants, bakeries, travel agencies, mechanics.
