Remo Salvati passes the debut round at the European Championships in Belgrade. No problem against the Croatian Gabriel Debanic, passed with a unanimous verdict of the judges (5-0), reiterated in every single round. The difference in level between the two in the category is evident 75kg.
First round all in favor of Salvati, who overall is decidedly more proactive than his opponent, who does little to have another role compared to that of the one who can’t land that many blows. Result: unanimous consent of the judges.

In the second round, the Italian tends more to stay in the center of the ring, without granting real space to his opponent who, in terms of finding the distance, almost never does so, often finding himself having to face Salvati’s jabs. The latter, with his left foot, has what it takes to manage the situation: this brings him another quintuple 10-9 from the judges.
At that point, the blue only had to manage due to a clear difference in values in the ring, also certified by the final verdict recorded. Next opponent is the Hungarian Soma Mesterand on Wednesday 24th they will already be quarter-finals in the evening session.
