The green light has arrived from the Regional Council for the refinancing of tenders for over 38 million under the Rural Development Program (PSR) 2014-2022 accountable until 2025.
“The financial allocation of the tenders recently opened on the PSR is increased – explains the vice-president of the Liguria Region and councilor with responsibility for Agriculture, Alessio Piana – for the support of agriculture and the municipalities of the hinterland thanks to the economies that were generated following renunciations by beneficiaries who did not complete the planned investments. These resources will increase the allocation of calls for which there is strong support, in order to complete the financing of eligible applications, with the aim of improving and accelerating the use of European funds“.
“The major increases, agreed together with trade associations and Anci on the basis of objective needs as monitored by the regional offices, will concern for example the financing of young farmers, investments for the development of agricultural and forestry companies, infrastructures for rural populations, the prevention of forest fires and investments in the development of agritourism. All strategic measures both for businesses and for the protection of the environment which agriculture safeguards” adds the vice president.
The activity of sending the concession documents will be immediate and will be completed by the summer.
