The regional volleyball phase for the under 15 men’s category begins. The Showy Boys Galatina team, having obtained the title of vice provincial champion, now plays in the regional quarter-finals.
A prestigious achievement for the young volleyball players of Galatina coached by Laura Pendenza. The opponent of the day will be the strong Castellana, the team most credited with winning the regional category title.
The crossovers of the pairings have reserved a more than difficult obstacle for the Showy Boys which, with its under 15 students, has started a new sporting path this season which has brought enthusiasm to an “enlarged” group with other members joining and reconfirmations.
The first leg of the quarter-finals will be played this afternoon, at 6.30 pm, at the municipal sports hall in via Montinari in Galatina. The return match, however, will be played on Tuesday 23 April in Castellana (5pm, IISS Consoli-Pinto gym).
