URBINO – Vallefoglia accident, the victim is Diana Sorini, 65 years old, professor from Urbino. He was a teacher of audiovisual disciplines at the Volta-Fellini scientific-artistic high school in Riccione.
The fatal accident occurred around 3pm on April 16 on the road that connects the hamlets of Capponello and Cappone, in the Vallefoglia area. In the extremely violent head-on collision between a lorry and a car, the car then caught fire. Firefighters, local police and 118 were on site. According to initial testimonies, it was the car that invaded the lane of the truck with the truck driver saying he had done everything possible to avoid the impact. The exact dynamics need to be clarified.
The Municipal Administration of Urbino expresses deep condolences for the tragic passing of Diana Sorini.
