I Am Friuli Venezia Giulia conquers Times Square (VIDEO)

NEW YORK – In a major strategic move, Friuli Venezia Giulia has presented itself in the center of Manhattan, projecting its charm and opportunities onto the giant screens of Times Square. This project is part of a series of initiatives promoted by PromoturismoFVG to enhance the region on an international level.

As part of his mission to the United States, the president of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Massimiliano Fedriga, not only presented the new video campaign dedicated to the region but also held high-level meetings, including a significant meeting with the Italian Minister of Finance , Giancarlo Giorgetti, in view of his commitment to the next G7 in Washington. During the meeting, which also saw the participation of the Consul General of Italy in New York, Fabrizio Di Michele, there was a discussion on strengthening political and commercial relations between Friuli Venezia Giulia and the United States.

A highlight of the visit was meeting Cameron Lawrence, CEO of New York’s New Lab, an innovation center located in the revitalized Brooklyn Harbor. The discussions concerned possible synergies and the transferability of knowledge and skills, with the aim of implementing a similar project in the Porto Vecchio of Trieste, which acts as an incubator for innovative initiatives and businesses.

The Governor highlighted the importance of these initiatives for strengthening tourist attractiveness and for opening up new investment opportunities in the region, underlining how these actions have already been crowned with successes in terms of visibility and international interest. The promotional action in Times Square represents not only a significant milestone but also a starting point for further developments and collaborations.
