Novafeltria, the accounts of the flood. Legal battle with the Municipality
Descriptive text here

There is a legal war in Novafeltria over interventions supported by private individuals after the flood. The issue of the Torricella artificial lake ends up in court. Following the flood, 40 people had been evacuated from the area for safety reasons and the Municipality had ordered the emptying of the reservoir. The owners of the lake, Angelo and Vittorio Berardi, contest the works subsequently imposed by the administration and ask to be compensated for the huge expenses they incurred. Defended by the lawyers Andrea Mussoni and Davide Morri, the Berardis demand that the Municipality pay the 60 thousand euros for the works following the emptying carried out in those weeks, such as the regulation of surface water, imposed by the administration. According to them, the measures were “arbitrary and erroneous”. Work that cost over 60 thousand euros. A sum that the Berardis are now asking the Municipality to reimburse. The TAR has declared itself incompetent in the matter: the water court will have to decide on the dispute, which is so strictly technical.
