The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region is intensifying its efforts to include young people in the job market, with an approach that starts from education paths and extends to active policies and the support of Employment Centres. Their work proves crucial to direct young people towards effective educational and professional choices. The effectiveness of these policies is supported by the latest data, which reveal a significant increase in hiring in the first two months of 2024: +12.8% for young women and +7.1% for young men in the region.
During the presentation of the Recruiting day, which will be held on May 15th in Pordenone, the regional councilor for Labor shared these positive statistics. The event expects the availability of approximately 90 jobswith the participation of companies such as Anima Vera, Decathlon, Mediaworld and Supermercati Visotto, all looking for profiles under 35. These opportunities range from positions in the tourist entertainment and retail sectors, up to specializations in the electronics and gastronomic fields .
The councilor underlined the importance of regional contributions for the hiring of young people, aimed at extending the duration of contracts. It is also recognized that practical training in the workplace represents the main way to professionally train young people. It was also highlighted how the renewal of the Employment Centres, beyond the usual administrative functions, is bringing concrete results, confirming the efficiency of these services in responding to citizens’ needs.
