Casalnuovo. An evacuated 5-storey building catches fire, a woman injured in hospital. The carabinieri intervened in via Virnicchi near the “Gallo park”, the apartment that caught fire was on the 2nd floor of the 5-storey building. Carabinieri and firefighters evacuated all the condominiums. The only injured person, transferred by 118 ambulance, is the owner of the house involved in the flames, a 47-year-old. The woman is currently hospitalized in the Frattamaggiore emergency room and she appears to have suffered smoke poisoning and her life does not currently appear to be in danger.
The causes of the fire appear to be attributable to a short circuit. The entire apartment caught fire. Checks at the facility are now underway.
