East ring road accident, photos of the truck that overturned: road closed and kilometre-long queues
As reported by colleagues at PrimaLaMartesana.it, the accident occurred near the exit of Cologno, where for reasons yet to be precisely clarified a truck overturned along the road. The impact was violent, causing considerable damage to the heavy vehicle. The driver of the heavy vehicle, a 43-year-old man, was injured and was transported under yellow code to San Raffaele. The traffic problems were very severe: the ring road was in fact closed to traffic to allow the recovery of the vehicle, with a mandatory exit at Cologno Est.
The formation of long queues, even lasting a few kilometres, is inevitable. The 118 rescuers with ambulance and medical vehicle, the fire brigade and the Novate Polstrada were on site for the usual investigations.
