A beautiful one Indeco Molfetta gives continuity to the great home success against Gioia, redeems the dull performance against Grottaglie and gives himself an important success against Leveranoa team that in the second round had scored 20 points out of 24 available, suffering only one defeat against the leaders Grottaglie.
Everything works best in the red and white half of the pitch which shows great cynicism and few errors: 61% receiving is excellent (88% for the Borghetti side) which allows Bernardi to play at his best and make the team attack with a positivity of 49% against 41% of guests.

First Indeco break signed by Petruzzelli (4-2) who blocks Esposito (5-3). The tie comes with a block from Toselli on Petruzzelli (6-6), then Lorusso invades for the guest’s first lead: 6-7. Break Leverano with Rossetti stopping Bernardi (6-8) and Toselli positive in counterattack: 6-9 and timeout for Difino.
Caleca invades in an attempt to stop Lorusso (8-9), then Battaglia brings Leverano back to +3: 8-11. Lorusso closes the gap again (10-11), Petruzzelli equalizes the score (12-12), then gives the red and whites the lead with a lob (13-12) and stops the equalizer Battaglia: 14-12 and Leverano timeout.
Again Petruzzelli (15-12) who blocks again Battaglia (16-12) who attacks out: 17-12 and Mr. Zecca stops the game again. Battle stops Borghetti (18-16), Petruzzelli chases away the witches (19-16), Lorusso maintains the advantage (22-19). Indeco double error (23-23) and Difino wants to reorganize ideas. Caleca gives Leverano the lead (9-10), Lorusso equalizes the score (10-10) and gives Indeco the lead: 11-10. The inertia of the set changes with Petruzzelli blocking Toselli (12-10) and attacking strongly on the opponent’s block (13-10), then Lorusso extends further: 14-10 and guest timeout. Battaglia attacks out (16-12), Petruzzelli does the same and Leverano shortens: 18-16. Esposito shortens again (18-17) and Mr. Difino introduces Tritto for Battaglia. Borghetti takes the chestnuts out of the fire (19-17), Tritto scores the ace for 21-18, Petruzzelli closes the set: 25-21.
Borghetti’s block out gives the red and whites the lead (3-2) with the Italian-Brazilian scoring the initial break: 5-3. Rossetti’s ace restores parity on the pitch (5-5), Tritto scores the Molfetta lead (6-5), Battaglia blocks Lorusso and gives the guest a counter-overtaking: 6-7.
Petruzzelli’s error gives Salento a double advantage (7-9), Lorusso equalizes the score (9-9), Petruzzelli puts Indeco back ahead: 10-9. The beautiful point-to-point is interrupted by Tritto’s block on Toselli (15-13), Battaglia shoots out (17-14), La Forgia returns to the field, but on Cappelluti, Borghetti presses Battaglia: 22-18. Battaglia attacks outside and delivers partial and match to the red and whites: 25-21.
In the next match, the red and whites will play away from home against Modugnoa team engaged in the tough fight for the salvation of the category.
