On April 12, a patrol from the Local Police of Brugherio was sent from the Operations Center in Via Enrico Toti, 7 for a road accident without injuries. Arriving on site, the officers ascertained that among those involved there was a 22 year old boy, of Egyptian origins and resident in another municipality, driving an Alfa Romeo 147, and a regularly parked Suzuki vehicle.
When driver documentation was requested, he showed one driving license issued by Libya in December 2023 and a residence permit for asylum seekers in Italy issued in June 2023. He declared to the agents that he had never left Italian territory since the summer of 2023.
Because they emerged discrepancies regarding the date of issue of the driving license, further checks were carried out. Subsequently, the driving document was criminally confiscated pursuant to article 354 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, with identification and denunciation against the driver.
