One year after the events that affected a large part of the Romagna area, a group of sixth grade students from the “Varoli” school in Cotignola he wanted to reflect on what happened and express his closeness to those who cannot forget having lost a part of their history. Through the project coordinated by Professor Angela Boschi and created in collaboration with the experts of “Biroke Studio” of Bagnacavallo, the students told in a short film the wave of solidarity that followed the days of the emergency and which saw people from all over Italy moving towards Romagna.

“Theirs – as the school director of the IC “Don Stefano Casadio” of Cotignola Paolo Taroni explains who strongly wanted this project – it’s a cry of hope: they don’t want to forget the “mud angels” who brought hugs, smiles and lots of concrete help to those who felt lost and, at the same time, they want to send everyone the message what to do something for others is good first of all for oneself”.

“The comprehensive institute of Cotignola – concludes Taroni – thus wanted to demonstrate its closeness in memory to the entire Romagna territory of which it is part and wanted to raise awareness among very young children in the protection of their territory and in general of nature and our land”.

The project was able to be implemented through the PNRR financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
