Fabrique takes over the former slaughterhouse in Milan: open-air space for music and culture from 20 April
Descriptive text here

It comes back to new lifeAir of the former Porta Vittoria slaughterhouse in Milan. No typos: “air”, not “area”, because this will be the name of what will become an open-air musical and cultural hub capable of holding up to 15 thousand people. But rather, the intention is a recreational and cultural place in an area that ideally connects the Fabrique to the city center.

Yes, the Fabrique, because Daniele Orlando is behind this operation, almost a visionary (but always with winning bets), a man who first invented the Fabrique and then the racecourses as music venues, even bringing 70 thousand people there. With him this time the Black Box company. The season will start with apreview, curated by Amnesia, on April 20th, a DJ set with Ilario Alicante, Leon and Blacksun. The rest is yet to be announced, but it is already known that they will take place the Looper festivalthe main event in the Street Art and Street culture field, the Zamna festivalan immersive and international musical journey, the second edition of Skate and surf film festivaland many other theatrical and cultural events.

The former slaughterhouse has been undergoing redevelopment (i.e. renovation) for some time after the start of the demolition and reclamation works of the old municipal markets. Since 2022 it has been used as a temporary space dedicated to young peopleto citizens, to schools, to associations in the Molise-Calvairate district but also to designers, creatives, researchers, who will be able to find in the spaces of the former slaughterhouse a place to experiment and incubate innovative ideas, activities and services.

Now music and cultural events are also arriving.
