APRILIA – A 41-year-old man lost his life in a road accident that occurred along via del Genio Civile in Aprilia. The victim, a keen motorcyclist, was involved in a collision which marked the end of his days.
According to initial reconstructions, the tragic event occurred when the driver of a Honda CR Fireblade violently collided with a Toyota Auris which was proceeding in the same direction along the road, coming from Campo di Carne and heading towards Pontina. The impact was devastating, causing serious damage to both the two-wheeled vehicle and the car involved.
Immediately after the accident, local police officers arrived on the scene to start rescue and investigation operations. An 118 ambulance was also promptly deployed, with medical staff desperately trying to carry out life-saving maneuvers and resuscitate the motorcyclist. Despite the efforts made and the timely arrival of the helicopter which landed nearby, every attempt was in vain.
