We are still waiting for the usual update on the official Xbox blog regarding the new free games arriving on Game Passbut in the meantime a first confirmation dedicated to the farewells from service at the end of the month.
As fans will know by now, the subscription service (which you can find at a discount on Amazon) announces removals from the catalog scheduled for every half and end of the month, revealing them about two weeks in advance to give fans time to try them before it is no longer possible to do so.
We can confirm that the new list of upcoming free games is already online on the respective apps for consoles and PC, confirming the farewell of 5 titles: find the complete list below.
Xbox Game Pass: free games removed from June 30th

- FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch
- Stranded Deep
- Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town
- Sword and Fairy: Together Forever
The farewell of FIFA 22 it also means that it will soon no longer be possible to play it in digital version, unless you have purchased it previously: the title has in fact been removed from all storesas a consequence of the end of the agreement between EA Sports and the football federation.
For the rest, we can only advise you as always to download all these titles Before it’s too late: After the end of June, it will no longer be possible to play them for free with Xbox Game Pass.
However, if you are subscribed to the subscription service, you can still purchase them with the 20% discount before removing the catalog. The only exception, for the reasons already explained above, is FIFA 22.
We will keep you promptly updated on our pages as soon as the new free games arriving for the second half of June are revealed: in the meantime, one of these titles may have already been revealed in advance thanks to a notification sent by mistake.
Furthermore, it seems that a leak may have anticipated two other upcoming titles, although obviously we invite you to take everything with due precautions.
