Concord’s PS Store page reveals the PvP modes available at launch

Looking forward to testing it firsthand I agree via the beta scheduled for this summer, the PlayStation Store page of the new shooter for PS5 and PC from Firewalk Studio has shared the first details on PvP mode which will be available in the game at launch.

Specifically let’s talk about 6 modes in total, from the classic team deathmatch (here called “Clash”) where the one who eliminates the most wins, to “Cargo Race”, where a team must defend a cargo that moves across the map, while the opponents will have the task of intercepting it and eliminate the defenders. From the details shared previously we also know that they will be available at Concord’s launch 12 maps and 16 characterswith more content coming via a series of free updates scheduled after release.

Concord’s 6 multiplayer modes

Below are the details of Concord’s PvP modes reproduced on the PlayStation Store:

  • Trophy hunting: Work as a team to find and collect items from defeated rival crews. The crew with the most points wins.
  • Clash: Earn points in each round by eliminating rival Freegunners with your crew. The crew with the most points wins the game.
  • Zone control: Capture and control three areas of the map. You earn points based on the number of zones your team controls: the more you have, the closer your crew will be to victory.
  • Contact: Team up to find and secure the designated area on the map, or defeat the rival crew before they complete the task.
  • On signal: Work together to find and control new zones on the map before time runs out. The team with the most points will win the match.
  • Cargo race: Team up to protect valuable cargo during extraction, or intercept and take down a rival crew to win.
Some of the Concord characters available at launch

The same page confirms that each Concord character has unique abilities that make them suitable for certain roles in combat and by playing assiduously with our favorite heroes we will unlock new costumes, cosmetic accessories and their “stories about the past”. Furthermore, in combat it will be possible to disarm rival Freegunners and steal their ammunition.

We remind you that the game will be available from August 23 on PS5 and PC, with pre-orders now available on PlayStation Store. Here are the details on editions, prices and pre-purchase bonuses. Before the exit, a meeting will take place open beta which will give players the opportunity to preview Concord, which currently still does not have a publication window.
