During its life cycle the Nintendo DS has hosted numerous noteworthy productions, capable of exploiting the peculiarities of the dual-screen console in an interesting way Nintendo or to demonstrate exceptional play and audiovisual qualities. One in particular, however, was considered the best title.
What is the best game for Nintendo DS? According to what emerges from Metacritic this primacy does not belong to an adventure of Super Mario and not even at the games of The Legend of Zelda And Pokémon published on the platform over the years (by the way, do you remember how much the Nintendo DS cost at launch in Italy?): somewhat surprisingly it is Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars the best game ever released on DS.
The registered work RockstarGames it has in fact achieved a notable metascore of 93the highest ever achieved by any game for the Big N portable platform (tied only by Flipnote Studio which however is more of an application DSiWare than a real game). 
Reproducing the bird’s eye view seen in the very first main games of the brand, Chinatown Wars demonstrated stellar playability and took advantage of all the features of the console in an adequate and interesting way, thus creating a branded experience GTA very different from the usual and therefore worth experiencing.
Today Chinatown Wars swells the ranks of the unjustly forgotten GTA, but it had qualities and ideas to spare that deserve to be rediscovered: if you still have a DS and don’t own the Rockstar title, get it as soon as possible!
