WhatsApp announces the arrival of some new features for Communities with the possibility of creating events in groups and replying to messages from admins on message boards

Since its launch at the end of 2022, WhatsApp Communities have received various innovations, with new tools available to application users. Today, with the new update just announced, Communities will be able to benefit from two important new features.
Both the possibility of create events in the groups that of reply to messages in ad groups where only administrators can post. These new tools to enrich WhatsApp Communities will arrive for all users over the next few days, with application updates on all platforms.
WhatsApp also confirmed the arrival of further news for the Communities, over the next few months. This section of the application, therefore, could become increasingly central for users.
Events are arriving in the Communities
Whatsapp introduced the possibility for any member to create an event within a community group. All group members have the opportunity to respond to the event and confirm or not their presence. Community members will be able to find the event on the group information page and all participants will receive an automatic notification shortly before the event starts.
This new feature just announced will be accessible also to WhatsApp groups who are not part of the Communities (and who are listed among the conversations in the Chat tab). The implementation, in this case, will only arrive over the next few months, as confirmed by the WhatsApp team. The operating mechanics should be the same.
There are also answers on the message boards
There is another novelty being distributed for the WhatsApp Communities: the application, in fact, introduces the answers to the messages on the message boards which, as a rule, are used by Administrators to be able to send general announcements to users, without creating conversation groups.
With this new feature, members will have the ability to respond to a particular ad. These messages will be grouped And reduced to an icon, without generating notifications. Admin and members will, in any case, be able to check the responses to the announcements at any time.
