Descriptive text here

The Fallout TV series it is of high quality and has been able to reproduce many elements of the video games in detail. The credit obviously goes to the care taken by the production team, but it also partly goes to Bethesda itself. In fact, it seems that at a certain point the developer started sending game files of the game to use for 3D print models to use on set.

The information comes directly from Todd Howard, head of Bethesdawho was interviewed by Kinda Funny Games about the TV series.

“I thought there would be more movie magic, that they would fake a lot of things, that they would have been filmed in computer graphics” Howard said, explaining his shock that it was actually the other way around.

Howard’s experience on the set of Fallout

The protagonist of Fallout (was not 3D printed)

Howard explained his own surprise in seeing that the sets were truly physical environments with working systems and also gave examples.

“You come in and you notice that they built this two-story Vault, and the lights are not fake lights, the buttons work. There’s incredible attention to detail, and a lot of the credit goes to Howard Cummings, the production designer, who was really meticulous in translating every little thing.”

Then, explain that the team sent the game files with the producers of the Fallout TV series: “We shared files directly from the games and they 3D printed things. Howard [Cummings] he apologized when they had to change the proportions of a corridor.”
