Stellar Blade: user ratings on the PS Store are “stellar”, it has almost the maximum score
Descriptive text here

Apparently a good part of PS5 users are playing or have already completed it Stellar Blade have evaluated the action created by Shift Up Games extremely positively, so much so that at the time of writing the title has a average of 4.79 out of 5 on PlayStation Store.

For those who don’t know, the PlayStation Store has a rating systemvery minimal to be honest (for example, it is not possible to leave a review with a comment like on Steam), but in its own functional way, through which players can assign from one to five stars to a title.

As we can see in the image below, Stellar Blade currently enjoys an enviable average of 4.79 with 20,965 total votes. Just for comparison, we are not too far from the ratings obtained by some of the most popular games globally last year, such as Baldur’s Gate 3 (4.82), Alan Wake 2 (4.77) and, to stay within the PS5 exclusives, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (4.86).

Stellar Blade may have sold a million copies at launch

PS5 users’ votes for Stellar Blade

As explained in our review of Stellar Blade, it is an action game characterized by a solid combat system, an impeccable technical realization and a well-thought-out progression, although the work does not sparkle with originality. The difficulty curve has also been well calibrated and players can tackle a good variety of quests and explore fascinating locations in a rather long-lasting adventure. However, we were not convinced by some of the defensive mechanics, the more linear phases of the campaign and the quality of the writing of the plot, despite the valid initial premises.

Net of its strengths and weaknesses, the game seems to have attracted a large number of players, so much so that according to a report Stellar Blade sold around a million copies in the first 24 hours of launch.
