Based on what the actress shared Bekka Prewitt, Capcom is reportedly working on a new game called The Descendants. She, the actress, has in fact indicated that she has held a supporting role within the Japanese publisher’s project.
As you can see below, Prewitt has worked for Capcom in the past, specifically on Resident Evil Village where he held the role of Bela Dimitrescu, one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters. This is not her only video game participation, but it is certainly her best known and most important one.
Obviously this information should not be considered an official announcement. First of all, it’s possible that what Prewitt indicated includes errors: the name of the game could be wrong or even the name of the publisher. Furthermore, it is not specified when this collaboration took place: it is possible that the project has already been canceled and that it is something old, which was in development years ago but which is now not one of the active projects. It’s also possible that the game’s name will change before release, perhaps to avoid confusion with NEXON’s The First Descendant.
In short, for now it’s just a rumor and nothing more, although it comes from a person who claims to have worked on the Capcom project.
