A Ferrari SF90 challenges the Lamborghini Revuelto and the Porsche 918: a full throttle race, what power. Here’s who won
You put three supercars on the track, one next to the other and the result can only be one: a drag race, a terrifying challenge to find out which is the fastest. And so the Carnow enthusiasts gave life to yet another electrifying challenge with one protagonist Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a Lamborghini Revuleto it’s a Porsche 918 Spyder. A crazy comparison, a challenge to the last horse in one of the most popular challenges of the moment: the standing start and the acceleration in a quarter of a mile.
There Lamborghini Revuelto it has a naturally aspirated V12 engine which gives a thrilling sound: to this must be added three electric motors which bring the car to a total of 1015 horsepower with 1062 Nm of torque. With an eight-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive, this car has a declared top speed of over 350 km/h.
A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine instead pushes the Ferrari SF90also with three electric motors that give a combined power of 1000 horsepower and a torque of 800 Nm. Also in this case, all-wheel drive and eight-speed gearbox, naturally automatic.
There Porsche 918 Spyder, instead, it features a 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 with two electric engines for a total of 887 horsepower and 1,280 Nm of torque. Needless to say, all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The Ferrari SF90 challenges Lamborghini Revuelto and Porsche 918 Spyder: the outcome of the race
In the first, truly exciting challenge, Lamborghini seemed to get off to a better start, with a burning sprint and the initial advantage. In the long run, however, the Ferrari recovers ground and overtakes its rival, finishing in first place. Never in the “race”, however, was the Porsche 918 Spyder.
In the second challenge the drivers exchange cars but the result does not change. At the start it was Ferrari that shot like a slingshot, with Lamborghini initially paying the price also against Porsche. The supercar from Sant’Agata Bolognese then recovers, overtaking the Porsche almost without difficulty but finishes in second place, behind the Unbeatable Ferrari.
The data therefore appears clear: in these challenges Ferrari appears one step ahead of its rivals. On the other hand, in terms of weight/power ratio, it recorded the best data of the three cars in the race, which in fact had an incidental role in the quarter-mile challenge.
