Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
In Final Fantasy we are the heroes and the same can be said in Stranger of Paradise. Except that the protagonist seems to enjoy it a little too much when he tears his enemies to pieces. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
When Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was presented (and it was still called Metal Gear Solid: Rising), we were presented with a game in which we could truly perceive the power level of Raiden’s katanathrough which to cut the environment in total freedom.
The final game after being reworked it was completely different, but it still managed to make us feel like unstoppable warriors, with its over the top boss fights and the ability to tear our opponents to pieces.
Asura’s Wrath
When the finger of a Buddha ten times larger than the Earth it comes down from the sky and you block it with your bare hands, you acquire without a shadow of a doubt the right to be part of this list. We are obviously talking about Asura’s Wrath, the action game from Capcom and CyberConnect2.
Asura’s Wrath is a concentration of Buddhist culture with a level of anger and malice that would scare even the old Kratos (not the modern moderate one). This is a game where no matter who is sent against us, our hands will hit even harder and faster until there is nothing left to destroy.
Prototype
When it comes to brutality, there is a name that cannot help but come to mind: Prototype. As a mutant human we can transform our bodies into blades and other instruments of death. Prototype is first of all very violent and certainly capable of making us feel the most powerful.
Anyone in the city that is the backdrop to the video game is just prey for our character, who is capable of bring destruction against a small army in total solitude. Furthermore, the further you advance, the more powers you obtain and the more unstoppable you feel.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed
There’s nothing like it the dark side of the Force to make us feel like the most powerful in the galaxy and Star Wars The Force Unleashed sets the record straight right from the title. It will take a while to acquire all the powers, but once we master the more advanced abilities we will feel that no one can stop us.
Not even one racor will be able to do anything against us. Furthermore, there is a section in which we take on the role of Darth Vader who is literally immortal and can use the Force indiscriminately.
Saints Row IV
Saints Row, after the first chapters, quickly became a concentrated exaggeration and he put us in the shoes of a character capable of causing endless destruction, but it is with Saints Row IV that we truly became the most powerful of all.
In this chapter, in fact, not only are we the President of the United States (and if this isn’t power!) but above all we end up in a virtual version of the world in which we can use hacks to obtain real superpowers and fight against an alien invasion. The game is rough, but you will definitely feel very powerful.
Yakuza 0
In Yakuza the protagonists are always gods unstoppable fightingpowerful beyond belief and even the other characters are amazed at what we are capable of doing and what we are able to endure.
However, among all the games we specifically choose Yakuza 0, not only because we can feel powerful both in the role of Kiryu and in the role of Goro, but also because one of the components of the game is linked to the accumulation of money. In the final stages we will have literally billions of Yen on our side we can buy the whole city. Power isn’t always that of your fists!
Risk of Rain
In Risk of Rain you don’t initially feel very powerful, quite the opposite. However, it takes very little to start understanding how the video game works, how to obtain upgrades quickly and tear apart hordes of enemies with an incalculable number of on-screen effects.

Dynasty Warriors
If you want to feel powerful, there’s nothing better than standing in front of an entire army and destroying it with a few combos. Dynasty Warriors is a “musou” that is, a game in which we are one of the most powerful warriors around and by moving across large maps we have to decimate generic enemies who are more cannon fodder than real adversaries.
Obviously there is no shortage of slightly more powerful enemies, but we will be in the middle of battles most of the time unstoppable.
