New Tesla Model 3 Performance it has finally arrived. When the car manufacturer presented the restyling of its electric sedan, it removed the Performance version from the list. Shortly after, news arrived that Elon Musk’s company was working on a new high-performance variant of the Model 3 which is now finally official.
In recent months we have seen several photos of it and some previews have made it possible to know its first technical characteristics. Now, we can discover all the details of the new Tesla Model 3 Performance.
SPECIFIC DESIGN
The new model can count on a specific body kit. As we have already seen, the new Tesla Model 3 Performance adopts new front and rear bumpers. At the front we also find a more pronounced splitter, while at the back there is a small one above the trunk carbon fiber spoiler. Also at the rear, the car can count on a new diffuser. Also new are the new-matched 20-inch staggered forged aluminum alloy wheels Pirelli P ZERO 4 tires specific to this model. The weight is 1,851 kg.
As for the interior, Tesla has introduced i new Sport seats, similar to those recently available on the Tesla Model S Plaid. They can also be heated and ventilated. Furthermore, the dashboard features carbon fiber finishes. For the rest, the interior follows that of the Model 3 restyling that we already know.
FROM 0 TO 100 KM/H IN 3.1 SECONDS
The powertrain of the new Tesla Model 3 Performance is composed by a double engine. For accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.1 secondsWhile the maximum speed reaches 262 km/h. The battery is always the same as the Long Range. In this case, however, theautonomy drops to 528 km according to the WLTP cycle. For this new model, Tesla has also worked a lot on the chassis and set-up to improve driving dynamics. Tesla Model 3 Performance can in fact count on adaptive suspension managed via software developed internally by Tesla which can be constantly refined through OTA updates (Standard, Sport and Track modes available).
The braking system is also new, with red calipers and high-performance brake pads. Tesla Model 3 Performance also features the Track V3 mode which modifies the response of the adaptive suspension and powertrain. Once activated, it is possible to customize further aspects of the car setup such as stability control and the intensity of regenerative braking.

How much does it cost new Tesla Model 3 Performance in Italy? Prices start from 55,990 euros. The first deliveries are estimated for May-June.
