Cyberpunk 2077 continues to be a testing ground for graphics mods, once again demonstrating its potential, and its versatility, thanks to the recent, and impressive, “Ultra+ Path Tracing Mod”.
This mod, in fact, pushes the resolution of the game up to 8K and introduces iin path tracing predominatesmaking the final experience literally out of scale, so much so that it seems like a title from the next generation of gaming.
The YouTube channel Digital Dreams presented a video that shows in detail the impact of this mod on the game (you can find it below). This mod applies a series of graphic changes, and new presetsto the graphics of the title, transforming Cyberpunk 2077 significantly.
The mod, however, is not limited “only” to improving the path tracing and the graphics sector, but also solves the problems previously found on AMD GPUsat least according to what the author declared.
The addition of path tracing to Cyberpunk 2077 not only improves particle effects such as smoke, steam and sparksbut makes the simulation of light and reflections on surfaces more realistic, making the iconic Night City more realistic than ever.
However, it is important to remember that the use of path tracing requires a very powerful hardware configuration and, definitely, not available to everyone. Despite this, the application of this mod is also recommended for users who have less performing configurationsgiven that it should improve the performance of the game and make the final experience smoother even on mid-range hardware.
