According to what has emerged over the last few hours, some models of smartphones of the range Galaxy Of Samsung are suffering from an annoying and decidedly curious screen-related problem: lGreen or pink lines appear on your OLED display after installing a software update.

The problem, according to reports received on social networks, affects a wide range of devices, including the Galaxy A73The Galaxy M21The Galaxy M52the series Galaxy S21 (including FE), the series Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The anomaly appeared after the installation of the One UI 6.0 or of theApril 2024 security update.
Some users have adopted the strategy of recording a video during the installation of the new update, so as to point out to the after-sales service centers that the damage was not caused by accidental impacts or falls.
It is currently not clear whether all markets are affected or whether the problem mainly concerns specific distributions, but while waiting for more details from Samsung, or even better for a definitive resolution, it is certainly advisable to deactivate automatic updates on the affected models.
Display malfunction is a problem that has always worried users, given that OLED panels are among the most expensive components of a smartphone: in some circumstances they can cost almost half the total price of the device.
Keep in mind that this is not the first time such a situation has occurred. Unfortunately, similar situations have already occurred on other occasions.
