When we dry our hair one of the dangers is burning our scalp from too much heat. Thanks to the sensors the new one is equipped with Dyson Supersonic Nural, which has just arrived on the Italian market, this will no longer be a problem. The Nural sensors with which it is equipped, as the hairdryer gets closer to the head, reduce the heat to 55°, i.e. the optimal temperature for scalp comfort. To make it even more noticeable, the color of the LED present in the body of the hairdryer changes from yellow (low heat) to orange (medium heat) and red (high heat), depending on the distance of the device from the head.

What Nural sensors do
The other innovations introduced in the new Supersonic Nural are the «accessory learning» function, which resembles our styling preferences: basically the Dyson stores the latest heat and airflow settings for each accessory and automatically applies them to the next use. Then there is the «pause detection»: an accelerometer which detects movement and automatically turns off the heat, reducing air flow and noise between one styling pass and another, to make drying more effective.
The accessories: the new speaker
Accessories were also presented together with the hairdryer, including the new «Wave+Curl» diffuser, designed for wavy, curly and very curly hair. It features two modes: «domed», to obtain more defined natural waves and curls, and «diffuse», with more protruding teeth which allow the air to be delivered more deeply, giving more volume to the roots and creating a softer texture on natural waves and curls. Then there are the GEntle Air (to evenly spread the air flow for quick and delicate styling), the ccentering tool (for precision styling), the pettine detangling e the finish to hide baby hair.
Availability and price
The new Dyson is available from today on the Italian market at a cost of 499 euros, with all five accessories included in the package. The color is aquamarine-tangerine.
