Tesla has introduced a small update for its Model S Plaid. For the high-performance version of its electric sedan, the automaker has announced the arrival of new sports seats. The Model S Plaid has been available to customers for a few years now and has not received any particular technical or equipment updates since its debut. For some time, however, there has been talk of the arrival of some small innovations including the introduction of specific sports seats.

The current seats are certainly comfortable but they are not suitable for high-speed driving, perhaps on the track. Tesla has therefore decided to fill this gap by introducing new sports seats which will be offered as standard, without any surcharge.

We know that the future new Performance (or Ludicrous) version of the Tesla Model 3 will also have sports seats. Therefore, the American car manufacturer has decided to offer specific seats for its high-performance electric cars which allow them to always offer maximum comfort but also better grip in sportier driving.

For the moment there is no other news for the Tesla Model S Plaid. We remind you that the electric sedan can count on a powertrain equipped with 3 electric motors capable of delivering 1,020 HP (750 kW). Maximum speed of 322 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds. The autonomy reaches 600 km according to the WLTP cycle. In Italy, this model costs 110,990 euros.
