Oristano This year, Asd Rugby Oristano will host the fourth stage of the island’s beach rugby tournament on July 6. An event that has now reached its third edition and is appreciated by players and spectators from all over the island. The participation of men’s and women’s teams is expected, representing Amatori Alghero, Trenicotteri di Capoterra, Bulldog Sassari, Rugby Club Cagliari, Sette Fradis Sinnai as well as the red and white home team of Oristano Rugby.
The event, in the name of a now consolidated collaboration, will take place at Eolo Ristobar, on the beach of Torregrande. It starts at 9, with inclusive rugby curated by the Sea Scout cooperative. At 11, the mini-rugby tournament and for the youth categories will begin. The senior tournament, men’s and women’s, will begin at 14 and the matches will follow one another until 20, when the awards ceremony will take place.
Starting at 9pm, there will be room for music, with Cristiano Vinci’s DJ set. «We thank all the sponsors who helped us organize this stage» says the president of Rugby Oristano Jean Louis Manca. Finally, as in the best rugby tradition, the third half begins, with drinks and food and the beautiful setting of the sunset in Torregrande.
