Full house at Rugby sound for the 90’s evening

The third evening at Rugby Sound was all about memories with the show “Voglio ritorno negli 90”, a successful format that is back after the success of the 2023 edition.

The show begins with the screening of a film in which the cult moments of the 90s are collected, with historical figures and programmes: Ambra in the program “Non è la Rai”, Papi and the Gatto man in Sarabanda, the images of the historic Festivalbar, Fiorello’s Karaoke, the first boy bands, the iconic Britney Spears.
The first part of the journey is a mix in the history of dance from the early 90s to the 2000s, including songs by Haddaway, Corona, La Bouche, covers by Vasco Rossi, Paridisio, Scatman, Playahitty and many others: they all dance and sing without distinction of age.
All kinds of gadgets are launched from the stage to color the evening and enthrall the audience. To increase the evening’s rotations, the DJ proposes songs by Gigi D’Agostino “the captain”: “L’amor toujours” is the symbol of freedom in the disco, a hymn to joy that takes people towards the stars!

It’s 11pm, the house moment arrives and “La danza delle streghe” by Gabry Ponte begins, “which never brings luck”, but the DJ senses the tension, and they veer towards the love mood with Titanic and Whitney and the timeless ballads “Destinazione Paradiso”, “Come mai”. The party continues with “Sarà perché ti amo”, “50 special”, “L’aiuola”, and a bit of group dancing with “La macarena” and “Mueve la colita”. The evening closes with “Urlando contro il cielo”, the final act of an evening of pure fun that records a sold out.
In the previous edition “Magic Nights” had greeted the party with Schillaci’s images. This year it was not possible. We want to go back to reliving those moments too. We miss them! “That dream that starts as a child and takes you further and further”!
