After a long experience in Serie A in various European countries, the spiker Michal Petrasborn in 1996, is ready to wear the Negrini CTE jersey.

In Italy for three years, first in Casarano (A3) and subsequently in Pordenone (A2) in the last two seasons, he brings with him a career full of successes in various European countries, as he himself says:
I’m 27 years old, this will be my eighth season abroad. I started playing volleyball at the age of 12 in the city where I live (Humenne). My professional career began in Austria where I played two seasons with AICH/DOB with which I was named MVP of the championship, which I then won in the 2017/18 season. Then I moved to Germany to Friedrichshafen (GER) where I won the Cup, Super Cup and came second in the championship. Subsequently I went to Switzerland to Lindaren Volley Amriswill, where I won the Super Cup again, and the title of MVP of the regular season, a season which ended in the semi-finals due to covid. The following year I returned to Slovakia to TJ Slavia Svidnik, a club in a small town where I achieved a great victory: meeting my current girlfriend and from the 2021/2022 season I have been playing in Serie A in Italy. My first year was in A3 with Casarano where the team had the chance to maintain the category and we managed to reach the semi-final of the play offs. Then I moved to Prata di Pordenone in Serie A2 and it was a fantastic experience to reach fifth place for two consecutive years and access to the play offs. Each experience left something special in my heart

Now it’s time to start a new experience for Michal who, despite various offers, was fascinated by the Acqui Terme project:
I have heard a lot of good things about Acqui Terme, I have had several offers from A2 (also to stay in Prata) but I decided to leave for a new adventure. I spoke with the coach and I really appreciated his attitude, the way he explained the project to me and how passionate he is about his job”

In conclusion, the new spiker from Acqui sets the objectives:
My personal goal is always to be as useful and impactful as possible on and off the pitch, to bring the experience I have had with different coaches, clubs and countries to the younger players. As for the team’s goals, talking about them now before the season is difficult because many teams are still completing the roster and I need to get to know my teammates first. I can guarantee that we will try to give our best in training and during matches to have fun with our fans, bring important results to this club and make this season memorable for the company”
