The first name of O.ME.PS Battipaglia which is preparing to compete in the top championship for the ninth time in its history is not a confirmation, nor a novelty, but rather a return. A very welcome return.
That of Ana Vojtulek, Croatian Winger/Pivot who had already been seen and appreciated in Battipaglia in the final part of the 2021-2022 season during which, in 7 games played, she had collected very important numbers, coming close to the double-double on average, the all despite an injury which inevitably affected his performance. So much so that, before this injury, in the first two games played she had scored 41 points and also grabbed 26 rebounds.
Born in Pozega, Croatia, on 24 September 1999, Ana is a modern player, agile and powerful at the same time, good at exploiting her important physical and technical qualities in both defense and attack.
A humble and hard-working player, despite her very young age she can already boast significant experiences in competitive and prestigious championships and having shown great personality everywhere. In addition to Italy, you have played in Switzerland, Germany, Hungary and your native Croatia, with remarkable numbers always and everywhere: worth mentioning are the almost 15 points average in your Hungarian adventure and the over 16 in the Croatian championship.
In short, Ana is a player who will be able to guarantee coach Serventi quantity and quality, a very important piece that combines with the joy of meeting a girl who was so much appreciated also for her splendid human qualities.
Her return (not the first in the history of PB63) demonstrates for the umpteenth time that many players are happy in Battipaglia to the point that they do not hesitate to answer affirmatively when asked to return there.

A – I think it represents a further step in my career, since the Italian championship is full of competitive teams.
