The celebrations after the success on clay: “I spent a few days of vacation with a group of friends. I had fun celebrating Roland Garros. I need these things too. It is clear that every player is different, but for me it is essential to separate personal life and tennis to reach the highest level. I have to have my days off to mentally relax, be with family and friends, and leave the racket aside. We tennis players have little time to do this and we must take advantage of these few opportunities. On Sunday I lifted the title in Paris and on Monday I had many commitments. Then I went to Ibiza to relax with some friends for three days. After four days, you change surface, tournament and playing conditions. I came home just to get ready and come here. Finish a tournament and you can celebrate for no more than two days.”
And now: “I know how I have to play on this surface and I am more mature. I didn’t move very well during the first training session here, but the process is slower.”
