American motorcycling is in a talent crisis, with Cameron Beaubier and Sean Dylan Kelly returning to their homeland, only Joe Roberts remains to defend the States in the world championship. The era of the American champions dominating in Europe is now a faded memory over time, but now the Americans are serious and with the new Talent Cup they aim to bring the Stars and Stripes riders back to the world championship on a permanent basis.

Stars and Stripes Talent Cup
Along the lines of what happens in Europe and Asia, the United States of America have also adapted by creating a Talent Cup useful for training young drivers and then letting them land in the RedBull Rookies Cup and from there into the world championship. The MotoAmerica Talent Cup will replace the current Junior Cup (our Supersport 300) And we will race with the Kramer APX-350 MA, prototypes created ad hoc by the Austrian company specialized in creating sports cars starting from KTM engines. The APX-350 MA will have at its heart the 350cc single-cylinder from the Austrian company capable of delivering 50hp and a weight of 115kg. At the moment, these are the only data made public on the new bike, in addition to the price of 22,495 dollars, which will allow kids aged 14 to 21 to challenge each other on equal terms while dreaming of MotoGP.
There MotoAmerica Talent Cup fills the gap between the MotoAmerica FIM MiniGP Series and high wheels, thus allowing new American talents to grow in their homeland before being selected for the Red Bull Rookies Cup and thus arriving in the paddock of the world championship. The objective is obviously to train a new generation of stars and stripes riders who can return to permanently occupy an important role in the world championship. The project will begin next year so we will have to wait a few years before drawing a conclusion and in the meantime it is up to Joe Roberts to keep the Americans’ attention high in the world championship.
